Cheyenne
Rushing was born and raised in central
Texas. After high school graduation she
enrolled at Texas State University in San
Marcos majoring
in drama. During her first semester
Cheyenne was recommended by an acting coach to a
casting director in Austin who was looking for
someone to appear in a low budget film being made in
Dallas. Cheyenne had no an
agent at the time and had never
auditioned professionally but she landed
the part and thus began her professional career
opposite Hilary Swank in "Boys Don't
Cry". After that Cheyenne appeared
in the movie "Where the Heart
Is" and on the television series
"Walker, Texas
Ranger". She also appeared in
a movie directed by a German student at the
University of Texas which led her to attend the
Berlin Film Festival. Deciding to live in
Germany, Cheyenne studied the
language and began a five year stay
in Berlin where she worked in numerous German
and English language films, television
movies and
series. Cheyenne Rushing now
lives and works in Los Angeles, California and
Austin,
Texas.
